Once upon a time I was just a girl with a love/hate relationship with fashion and a dream…

Today, I’m still a girl with a love/ hate relationship with fashion (which I have subsequently been able to recognize as “style”) and a dream… but that dream is so much bigger that what it used to be! The path that this dream has taken me on is not one I could ever have imagined, but I am thankful for every single moment of this crazy ride!

By now you’re probably wondering what exactly it is that I do… other than my title as previous “Hot Artist” writer for PinkPlayMags cum fashion columnist & blogger for the publication. I am also a wardrobe stylist. If you’re anything like I used to be 7 years ago, you’re saying “Okay, I still have no idea what it is you do.”

To put it simply, I dress people. Sometimes those people are celebrities or high profile clients, and sometimes they are just ‘normal people’ like you and me. I put together the outfits for music videos, commercials, films, TV shows, magazines, catalogues and websites. I’ve sat behind Joshua Jackson at Ralph Lauren’s Presentation at New York Fashion Week, dressed the gorgeous girls of 90210 for the Golden Globes and Bollywood Mega-star Prianka Chopra, helped Green Day’s Mike Dirnt look great in front of the camera, dressed actors for Hyundai and Beats By Dre commercials, and explored the expansive closets of the rich and famous. I’ve also been fortunate enough to work with companies like Nasty Gal, Forever 21, Just Fab and Sanctuary Clothing.

By far though, my absolute favorite part of my job is being able to bring my knowledge of fit, color and trend to my private clients who just want to look and feel great on a daily basis; having this one-on-one ongoing relationship with someone in this capacity is absolutely priceless. I hope that we can develop a similar relationship through the Tops & Bottoms column and accompanying blog. I will bring my expansive knowledge to you, along with my observations of what’s going on in the fashion world. Plus, I will be giving you a front row seat to all of the amazing events I attend, starting with the world’s largest Lesbian Circuit Party, Dinah Shore in my next column. You can also look forward to celeb style, fashion dos and don’ts, and of course snippets of me having fun on set!

See you back here real soon!
