Colourful, educational and entertaining, Edmonton’s Pride Festival celebrates unity and diversity during one of Western Canada’s largest LGBTQ festivals.

Enjoy a convoy of more than 80 fabulous floats sailing through Old Strathcona to kick off 10 jam packed days of fun and entertainment showcasing LGBTQ culture and pride. Join the celebration by following Saturday’s parade to the festival where delicious aromas are drifting from food vendors, dance to rhythms of all-Canadian live music acts or kick back in the beer garden. Mingle among a diverse, family-friendly crowd that includes everybody from kids to seniors, activists, the business community, and fun-seekers, all celebrating and respecting gay pride and culture.

The festivities don’t end there, so be sure to take in some of the 40+ other events that have dazzled, inspired and shaped Edmonton’s LGBTQ culture over the past three decades. Enjoy delicious food and moving stories at the Mayor’s Pride Brunch, stroll through the Rainbow Art Gallery, be inspired at the Awards Nights or take in a theatre production, LGBTQ film or comedy show. ‘Pride in the Park’ is the main event that follows the Pride Parade, and will include a beverage garden, food & merchandise vendors, and live music.
