Mr. Colin Sines passed away peacefully on September 24th 2017. Colin was an incredible visionary and leader, and he embraced the LGBT community on so many levels. Based in Niagara region, he was an advocate for tourism to the area, as well as the publisher of OUTVisions, a local LGBT publication. His colleagues at OUTVisions remember him as “a mentor and sage for many of us who sought to learn from a charming, knowledgeable and giving man. His compassion for people, his gracious teachings and love of his work made him a person who everyone wanted to work with. Colin made everything easy and he knew how to handle every situation. Colin not only taught but he kept learning every single day.”

Colin was also CEO and Executive Director of Travel Gay Canada, and through his dedicated efforts and positive networking, helped to build Canada into the LGBT-friendly country it is today.

Colin will be deeply missed by friends and colleagues within the travel and tourism industry, the publishing industry, and the LGBT community at large.
