Atmosphere is everything in downtown Hood River. The quaint-yet-hip downtown core is lined with tasting rooms, artisan jewelry boutiques, and acclaimed culinary delights. Explore beautiful Hood River, including award-winning eateries such as Celilo Restaurant and Bar, Sushi Okalani, and dozens of locally owned cafes, restaurants, tasting rooms, and bars — all just steps away.

Vital to the community’s heartbeat from its beginning as Hood River’s only true downtown hotel, the Hood River Hotel continues to be the cornerstone of the town’s epicenter. It’s a perfect basecamp as you explore the region’s deep agricultural roots, from pears and apples on the famed Hood River Fruit Loop to world-class farm-to-table and farm-to-glass experiences at local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and cideries that line the downtown streets.

The property pairs the timeless history with thoughtful touches, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for today’s travellers while celebrating the property’s unique history, character, and soul. Walk the path of Oregon settlers when you enter through the original expansive wooden doors and set foot on the black and white tiled entryway. The lovingly restored guest rooms include modern amenities such as luxurious European-style linens, eco-friendly bath products, flat-screen televisions, and complimentary Wi-Fi. And the beloved on-site restaurant, Broder Øst, is famed for its Nordic-inspired brunch.

Within a few blocks of the Hood River Hotel, guests can rent an electric bike for touring the Historic Columbia River Highway, rent snowshoes for exploring Mount Hood, hire a fly-fishing guide, or treat themselves to a facial or massage.
