So Labour Day has come and gone for another year, and that means end of summer (unofficially). After this massive heatwave here in Toronto, I’m ready for fall, the best season of the year for me. The air becomes crisper and cleaner again, the stench of rotting garbage disappears, and finally people will stop wearing their damn flip-flops on those filthy city streets. Are there statistics on an increase in foot ailments over the course of the summer?

Fall also means the changing colours of the leaves, and an abundance of fall festivals and events, both here in the city and beyond the GTA as well. For those who haven’t been to a real fall fair before, or haven’t been in a long time, there’s no better way to spend a day than gawking at chickens and oversize pumpkins!

So here’s a roundup of websites to visit that will help get you planning that next fall adventure. Remember you can get to many places by GO Transit and VIA Rail as well.

Happy Trails!
