The wait is over, Canada –get in the queue! After much anticipation, Grammy-nominated, multi-Platinum recording artist, Post Malone, dropped his latest creation, Maison No. 9, across Canada on National Rosé Day, June 12.

Following its overwhelming success in the US and UK in 2020, Maison No. 9,the acclaimed French Méditerranée rosé, officially arrives in Canada perfectly timed for summer sipping and a ‘Rosé All Day’ kind of mood.

Born from the idea of celebrating Post Malone’s love of the Mediterranean lifestyle and rosé wine in particular, Maison No. 9 is the beautifully bottled result of a collaboration between Post Malone, music manager Dre London and James Morrissey of Global Brand Equities. The three founders worked closely with multi award-winning Provence winemaker Alexis Cornu to perfect the liquid.

“Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy.” –Post Malone

A high quality 2020 Mediterranean IGP, awarded 90 points on, Maison No.9 is a delicious blend of 45% Grenache Noir, 25% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 15%Merlot. It is easily identifiable by its soft, light pink color, offering intense and inviting aromas of freshly picked fruit, including ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry with hints of sweet French desserts once uncorked. The clean, dry, crisp finish is balanced and round with a texture that is mouth-watering and savoury, perfect for enjoying with friends or alongside light dishes during the summer months and beyond.

The sleek, slender and sustainable all-glass bottle is topped off with a solid glass cap shaped into ‘battlements’ that mirror a medieval castle located near the vineyard itself; whilst the name is inspired by Malone’s favourite tarot card –Nine of Swords, symbolizing triumph over life’s daily challenges.

Following in the footsteps of its founders, Maison No. 9 has already rocketed far beyond the prism of typical celebrity brand launches. Its US release in June 2020 saw 50,000 bottles sold in just 48 hours, making it the fastest-selling launch of a wine product in history. A limited release in the UK in December 2020 saw the wine sell out in just 5 days. Maison No. 9 will be available online and in select liquor stores across Canada beginning June 12.

Maison No. 9 will be available in select liquor stores across Canada, including the LCBO here in Ontario, with suggested retail pricing starting from $29.95 (750ml).
