This is the only Glenfiddich Single Malt to be finished in French cuvée casks used to produce some of the world’s most extraordinary sparkling wines. Through this art of experimentation, the remarkably rich whisky, already intense in flavour thanks to long maturation in American and European oak casks, is finely finessed with influences from French cuvée casks. The elegant bottle sits in an opulent black box featuring a sparking golden firework design to emanate the spirit of celebration and the true taste of luxury. Available in limited quantities in Ontario at select LCBO locations, and in Alberta and British Columbia at select premium liquor retailers throughout the holiday season, or while supply lasts. This is one you’ll definitely want to sip and savour!

For something more in reach of a novice drinker, start with the original 12-Year Old which is carefully matured in the finest American bourbon and Spanish sherry oak casks for at least 12 years. Married and mellowed in oak marrying tuns for complete harmony of oak aroma and fresh pear flavour. Now you’re ready to sip your way forward through their extensive collection, each a bit unique in their own way.

Next up, is the 14-Year Old , is aged 14 years is American Oak casks, resulting in a rich, sweet and vibrant single malt that delivers complex flavours of woody spices with ripe summer fruit. Follow this by the 15-Year Old which is aged in European, American, and New American oak barrels, then mellowed in a unique Solera vat before being married in Portuguese oak tuns.

After the tried and true traditional offerings, why not get a bit more adventurous with their Experimental Series? The IPA is brewed in bespoke craft IPA barrels, creating a single malt expression imbued with unique zesty citrus notes of green apple and pear, that’s complemented by the subtle tang of fresh hops, followed by a long lasting sweetness. Project XX embodies the aroma of apple blossom, summer fruits, and ripe pear, with hints of sweet candyfloss, cinnamon spice, almonds, and rich port tannins with the odd whisper of liquorice. Fire & Cane is a bold fusion of smoky and sweet notes. By marrying peated whisky and malts matured in bourbon barrels, and then finishing in Latin rum casks, an exquisite whisky is created with a campfire smokiness and toffee sweetness.

Celebrated in art communities as one of the most coveted artist residencies in the world, the Glenfiddich Artist in Residence Program is a short-term residency at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.  The annual prize for the artist includes three months of income, all-inclusive travel and accommodations, project materials, and the opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary ideas while working with an international art community from around the world. Completed applications must be submitted by midnight eastern standard time on January 25, 2022.
