Established in Quebec in 1905 by François Leclerc, the Leclerc Group has enjoyed remarkable growth over the last 30 years, with locations also in Ontario and across the United States. The company specializes in making cookies and snack bars, and exports its products to more than 30 countries.
For someone who only recently discovered these delicious products by way of their expansive line of gourmet cookies, I was eager to try these bars as well, and they also didn’t disappoint. I initially bought their festive “Eggnog” flavoured cookies that are available over the holiday season, but was immediately hooked into buying their various berry, chocolate, and caramel flavours shortly after. As for the Oatmeal Bars, they were very fresh and tender tasting, and provided that much needed snack between meals when I was rushing out the door. Although all were equally as tasty, my favourite was the carrot. I’m definitely going to keep a stash of these on hand, right beside my LeClerc cookies!
