From tinsel to tiki, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum infuses the holidays with a bold and bright taste of the tropics. With multi-coloured lights decorative palms, flashy Hawaiian shirts, and tropical cocktails in vintage-inspired tiki glassware, it’s time to shake up traditional holiday celebrations.

In 2014, the first holiday-inspired tiki bar popped up in New York, decked with bold lights and colourful palms, inviting consumers to forget brightly lit pine trees and romantically hung mistletoe, and instead, embrace an extravagantly bold, colourful. In the same all-in fashion, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum goes out of its way to find the best Caribbean rums for a spiced rum that’s uniquely bold, smooth, and balanced with notes of intense vanilla, buttery toffee and subtle cinnamon, perfectly fitting for festive holiday cocktails.

In lieu of the traditional tinsel, Sailor Jerry invites Canadians of legal drinking age to deck the halls with bold and bright coloured lights, decorative hibiscus florals, and Hawaiian décor!  Whip up some tiki drinks with paper umbrellas, with these suggested tropical cocktails below that will have you dreaming of a…Merry Jerry Christmas! Oh, and to be sure these recommendations were presented, yours truly sampled them all, and the verdict is….yum, yum, they’re all great with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum!

Sailor’s Yule Nog

When it comes to a holiday drink, one of the top that comes to mind is rum and eggnog. Here’s how it’s done right so you get the perfect damn nog, every damn time!

  • 1 oz Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
  • 1 ¾ part coconut milk
  • ¾ part sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ part pineapple juice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 drops vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, then strain into your favorite glass. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.

Cup O’Jerry

It ain’t the holidays without a Cup O’Jerry. Whether you’re decking the halls or stayin’ up wrapping presents, this seasonal sip will have you rockin’ around the Christmas tree in no time.

  • 4 parts coffee
  • 1 ½ parts Sailor Jerry
  • ¼ part heavy cream
  • 1 pinch brown sugar
  • Top with cinnamon and whipped cream

Make your pot o’coffee and build this cocktail the same as you would with your everyday cream and sugar! If you take it black, instead add the Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, heavy cream, and a pinch of brown sugar in your mug and top with piping hot coffee. Stir, and top with cinnamon and whipped cream.

Spiced Hot Cider

Think cider is just for fall? Sailor Jerry doesn’t subscribe to convention. Spiced, wait- SPIKED cider is a kick-ass beverage year ‘round, especially with Sailor Jerry in the mix.

  • 1 part Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
  • 4 parts Apple Cider
  • ½ part Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons mulling spices

Heat all ingredients except Sailor Jerry on the stove until warm and fragrant. Pour into mugs, top with Sailor Jerry and garnish with a lemon wedge and apple slices.

Whatever tiki tipples you’re shaking up this season, they’ll be shamelessly good with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.
