Pride themed brews that taste good, and support the LGBTQ+ community
It’s Pride, which means it’s time to celebrate with a cold one. It’s great when independent businesses step up and show support for the LGBTQ+ community. Muskoka Brewery has been doing this for a few years now, and it’s great to see Wellington Brewery now supporting their local community as well. Cheers!
Muskoka Brewery has brought back their Born This Way IPA, a hazy Nano IPA that’s bursting with notes of tropical fruits and floral undertones, while keeping the ABV kicked back. Bright and juicy with flavours of mango, peach, and passion fruit. Underlying malt sweetness is mildly toasty with a hint of cracker. Available at the LCBO.
Wellington Brewery has released a Pride beer called Sunshine Blonde Ale w/ Raspberry and Hibiscus and 25 cents from each can sold will go to Guelph Pride and Bill 7 2SLGBTQIA+ scholarships. Brewed with hibiscus and raspberries, this refreshing blonde ale has a fabulous pink glow and vibrant berry flavours. Available at the LCBO.
