Based on the book series, the short film, The Adventures of a Recovering Sex Addict, Thirsty AF, is a side-splitting series that traces the escapades of a charming ensemble, spearheaded by Cali Church. The group embarks on a journey to confront their personal addictions, navigating a landscape of both poignant and uproarious blunders.

As they join a writing group aimed at overcoming trauma, helmed by an African immigrant renowned for his treasury of African proverbs, the group unearths profound revelations about the universal human yearnings for love, connection, and self-discovery. The accompanying short film complements the book with a visual journey that immerses the audience in the raw emotions and challenges faced by Cali.

Wade’s storytelling transcends the page and screen, making Thirsty AF a multi-dimensional experience. The film stars Sheronna Osbourne (Pretty Hard Cases/CBC), Mark Taylor (Flashpoint/CTV), JaNae Armogan (Suits/USA), Comedian Trixx, and esteemed poet Dwayne Morgan. The film is executive produced by L.A. Wade, award-winning actress Olunike Adeliyi (The Porter/CBC), Sheronna Osbourne, Mark Taylor, JaNae Armogan and Big Norm Alconcel.
