Alaska Airlines is announcing new service this spring to a dynamic Canadian destination our guests are going to love: We’ll begin daily nonstops between Seattle and Toronto starting on May 16, 2024, with convenient departure and arrival times.

Toronto is a brand-new destination for the air carrier from their home airport in Seattle. We’re always focused on better connecting the Pacific Northwest with additional nonstops in our network,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning for Alaska Airlines. “There’s a strong desire by our guests for a Seattle-Toronto flight that connects a pair of exciting cities not only for leisure travel but also links key business centers between the U.S. and Canada.”

Toronto will be the sixth Canadian city the carrier flies to, in addition to Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria.

In December, they also announced their 30th global airline partnership with Porter Airlines, also based in Toronto. Alaska and Porter look to strengthen their partnership throughout 2024. Porter began new flights between Toronto and both Los Angeles and San Francisco earlier this year.
