Experience “Gallery of Memories” at Nuit Blanche 2024, showcasing stories of LGBTQ+ individuals with, or at risk of developing dementia
Pride Toronto, in partnership with Egale Canada, is proud to present “Gallery of Memories” at Nuit Blanche 2024. This moving exhibition showcases the stories of 10 diverse 2SLGBTQI+ individuals with, or at risk of developing, dementia. Through poignant photographs, personal memories, and powerful audio stories, visitors will explore the resilience, activism, and love that have shaped Canadian queer history. The exhibit features a striking installation of old televisions, symbolizing the challenges of memory loss, with archival footage from early queer liberation movements. Join us as we raise awareness for inclusive healthcare and the unique experiences of 2SLGBTQI+ seniors.
Don’t miss this powerful tribute to our community’s history and ongoing fight for recognition and care.
Gallery of Memories – Saturday, October 5th (7PM) – Sunday, October 6th (7AM) – Unit 501, 158 Sterling Rd., Toronto
