Yorkie Burrito – UK sensation makes its way to Toronto for a limited time only this holiday season
Brace your taste buds! A tasty new holiday food sensation has arrived to this season’s line up at The Distillery District‘s Winter Village. Celebrity chef David Adjey from the Food Network will be serving up the viral food trend that’s taken the UK by storm – the Yorkie Burrito – exclusively at the Spirit of York.
For the first time in Canada, David has recreated the holy grail of the season that redefines the traditional holiday roast. Featuring succulent pieces of braised beef pot roast, rich gravy, roasted potatoes and onions, butter poached carrots, English peas and cauliflower with a cheese sauce and creamy horseradish all wrapped in a Yorkshire Pudding. Pair it with any of Spirit of York’s festive cocktails, and continue on your merry way.
To give back to the community, Spirit of York will deliver Yorkie Burritos to Toronto’s food banks and shelters every Sunday, and serve Sunday Roast Skillets at the restaurant to the public.
